The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities through Conductive Education. Many of CECO's students have complex needs and were told by doctors that they would never walk or speak. At CECO, they are defying these limitations and overcoming unbeatable odds - and that makes them Superheroes in our book!
Conductive Education is a neurological methodology developed in the 1940s to re-train the brain after an injury.
CECO is the only center of its kind in the United States offering a combination of special education and Conductive Education.
35% of CECO's students relocate to Orlando from out-of-state or abroad to participate in programs.
